When the kids and I visited WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo during the school holidays we were in for a real treat.
A day before it’s official launch, we were about to try out the new WILD flight, an airbourne adventure where you get a birds eye view of WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo. Before I continue, I’m scared of heights and couldn’t muster the courage to have a go although it looked (and was) very safe and secure. Nine year old Miss J, on the other hand, couldn’t wait to get amongst it and ended up having two goes!

The new, self-propelled ride enables kids and grown-ups alike to enjoy a bird’s eye view of WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo and its furry, feathered and scaled residents. During the 70 metre aerial journey, you’ll be able to see the kangaroos bouncing below, glide past princess parrots in the tree tops and even travel above Rex, WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo’s huge five-metre saltwater crocodile. (eeek!)
I had never been to WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo and I have to say I was pretty impressed. The zoo is home to over 1,000 native Australian animals and you can take part in over 25 keeper talks and animal encounters during your day out. Now with the addition of WILD Flight, WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo just got a whole lot more exciting.

If you are looking for a fun day out then I can highly recommend WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo.
Before our ride on the WILD Flight we got to hang out with the Koalas and have some brekky. The WILD Flight ride is located up with the zoo’s Koala’s and they are just adorable.
We had such a great day at the WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo, not only did we meet some cuddly Koalas but we also got to meet some other residents of the Zoo. And as a big surprise to the kids there were also celebrities there!

- WILD Flight is a new 12 metre high and 70 meter long aerial adventure
- Enjoy aerial views of native Australian animals, including resident Rex, the five metre salt water crocodile
