I was so excited to attend last week’s launch of Myer’s new Christmas concept store – the Giftorium. Christmas is a pretty exciting time of the year, especially for kids, and the Giftorium doesn’t disappoint on the excitement factor.
The Giftorium makes Christmas shopping easy (and fun) whether you’re looking for a gift for someone or gifts for everyone.
There are twelve ‘themed’ sections where you can find the perfect gift: Dapper Dad, Miracle Mum, Glamour Gran & Perfect Pop, Trendy Young Things, Kids Cubby, Food Fanatic, Stocking Fillers, Techno Freak, Fashionista, Globe Trotter, Paws Corner and Hop, Skip, Juice.
As well as a huge selection of gifts to choose from, this year the Myer Giftorium brings you a range of services including the Giftician, the Productician and the Same Day Elf Delivery Service (just to name a few).
The Giftician is your go-to for finding that perfect present. Gifticians will assist you with choosing gifts for varying age groups no matter what your budget. Producticians will be in store providing product demonstrations and in selected stores there will be demonstrations by major brands including Marvin’s Magic, Soda Stream, Mr Men and Little Miss, Plumm Wine Glasses, Dilmah Teas and Vista Print!
And if you live or work in the CBD of Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or Perth (and within a 2km radius of the Myer store) you can take advantage of the Same Day Elf Delivery Service!
But the best thing is you can book a time with Santa – hallelujah! No more waiting in that queue.
I had such a great day exploring the Giftorium and catching up with my fellow bloggers, some who I met in person for the very first time. Check out the group photo of my bloggy pals over at Life, Love and Hiccups. Also a big shout out to the lovely Vicki from Style On V who wandered around and explored the Giftorium with me and Jess from Peachy Keen Mumma – thanks for the Prinstagram hot tip 🙂 )
Each one of Myer’s 67 stores will have a Giftorium.
If you can’t get in to a store you will find a dedicated Giftorium microsite on the Myer website. The microsite has everything. You can shop, book a time with Santa or even a Productician.
The Sydney Myer Giftorium will hold it’s Grand Opening on 8 November with special guest performances and of course…..the all important arrival of Santa.
Disclaimer: A big thank you to Myer for the generous goodie bag I received on the day which included a soda stream (my kids will be eternally grateful), a Little Miss Amanda – yes I’m a chatterbox :), gift card, Dilmah Tea blend and Archie the Christmas Bear. Although I received this goody bag the views and opinions expressed in the post are entirely my own.
